- The sand pump requires the initial use of quartz sand which can be stored for approximately 5 years before being replaced.
- (Type of sand to be used: ground quartz with 99% silicon content and grain size = 0.4 - 0.8 mm)
- The filter basket offers easy cleaning and extends the life of the sand. This pump requires virtually no maintenance other than sand replacement every 5 years.
