This butterfly sorter has 'stages' that grow with baby!
With the top removed, younger babies can use the Fisher-Price Butterfly Shape Sorter for fill & spill fun. Baby will love just putting the chunky, easy-to-grasp shapes in the butterfly – and dumping them out to start the play all over again! For older babies, place the shape sorter lid on top and show baby how to fit the blocks through the matching openings. Before long, baby will be doing the shape sorting all on their own!
Watch as baby’s development takes wing!
Grasping blocks for put & take play and fitting blocks through the openings on the shape sorter lid help baby develop fine motor skills, like finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Matching block shapes to the openings also helps develop thinking & problem solving skills. And little ones gain self-confidence as they discover how to match and sort shapes on their own!
Where development comes into play
Take the play to another level!
As baby grows, you can turn the fun into teaching opportunities. Ask baby questions like, 'Can you find the circle?' 'How about the triangle?' or 'What color is the square?'
Promotes motor skills
Fitting blocks through the openings and matching block shapes help develop thinking and problem-solving skills – as well as fine motor skills
Add to the fun

It is just as cute as it looks. The butterfly design is beautiful for babies. It's easy to handle to be various shapes or big enough for the little one to hold in his little hand. It is very nice; I highly recommend it.
