Description
- Pigmentation spots are less visible and overall complexion is harmonized.
- The synergy of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and highly concentrated pigment-reducing ingredients exfoliates the skin and regulates the production of melanin, which causes pigment spots.
- Kojic acid
- Because it inhibits the production of melanin, kojic acid is a proven, effective treatment of melasma (for example the mask of pregnancy).
- Arbutin
- Inhibits cells’ production of melanin (melanogenesis) by blocking the action of tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant.
- Liquorice
- A proven depigmenting agent, due to its flavonoid-rich composition. Liquorice inhibits the action of two tyrosinases, which catalyse the production of melanin. It also has soothing properties.
- Morus alba
- A species of fruit tree, morus alba limits the production of melanin by inhibiting the action of the tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant.
- Glycolic acid
- Speeds up exfoliation and promotes cell renewal.
- Salicylic acid
- Causes a keratolytic action that reduces intercorneocyte cohesion, and destroys lipids that bind the outer cells of the epidermis.
